Simplified Cell Cycle and Cell Division

 Cell cycle and Cell division:

"Continuity of life" is an important characteristics of living organism and is achieved through the process of reproduction. The reproduction may be Asexual or sexual, Both of this involved the division and replication of cells.
Even the growth and development of every living organism depends on the growth and division of its cells.

In unicellular organism cell division is the means of reproduction by which the mother cell produces two or more new cells.
In Multicellular Organism also ,new individuals develop from a single cell-The zygote, by cell division so by the process of zygote is transformed into an adult formed of millions and billions of cells.

It is is also form the basis of replacement of old and worn out cells in the process of repair and regeneration when is Central to life of the cell and is essential for perpetuation of the species.

Two basic process in cell reproduction;-
1. Cell Growth( uses and application of various component of cells)
2. Cell Division( divide into two daughter cells)

Cell cycle :-

1. Definition all those changes which occur during cell growth and cell division are collectively called cell cycle. it is a sum of all those events by which are two duplicate is done and synthesized cell contents and eventually divide into two daughter cells. This events are themselves under genetic control.

2. Two part of cell cycle :-
a. Interphase
b. M-phase

On the basis of synthetic activities interphase is divided into three sub phases ;:-
a. G1 or Gap or post mitiotic or pre synthetic or first growth phase.b. S or Synthetic phase.C. G2 or Gap -ii or Post synthetic or pre mitotic or second growth phase.
